Frequently asked questions
What is Shagle, and how is Aleatoria different?
Shagle is a random video chat service built around filters and queues. Aleatoria keeps only the part that matters — instant 1-on-1 video and text with strangers — in the browser, with no account and no waiting room.
Do I need an account to skip faster?
No. Everything happens on the page: confirm 18+, allow camera and microphone when ready, and talk. Closing the tab ends the session; there is no profile lingering anywhere.
Is Aleatoria safer than Shagle?
No random-chat site is fully safe. Aleatoria's edge is defaults: 18+ gate, camera and mic under your control, instant Next, and a monitored inbox at report@aleatoria.app. Your caution does the rest.
Safe, respectful chat for adults 18+
Aleatoria is 18+ only. Your camera and microphone stay under your control — turn either off at any time.
Leave any conversation instantly with Next to skip, and keep personal details private.
